Our Story
Compass Community Church was established as a church plant in 2019, initially operating out of our local high school, with Westmount Christian Reformed Church as the original planting church. We gathered weekly, cherishing the time spent together as a community of both new and long-time believers. However, like the rest of the world, our gatherings came to an abrupt halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic, making the high school facilities unavailable for the foreseeable future.
During the pandemic, despite stay-at-home orders, we maintained our sense of community through weekly video-based messages and online worship.
In 2022, Westmount CRC voted to become Compass Community Church, reaffirming its commitment to spreading the love of Christ within the Strathroy community. Renovations have been completed to help modernize our facilities and create a new and inviting space for new and old believers enjoy exploring faith together.
We eagerly anticipate the future of Compass Community Church and God's plan for it. Join us in writing the next chapter of Compass Community Church in the Strathroy area.
